Today I took some time to sit with and cherish all of my paper goods I got for Christmas. Arturo is fully aware of my great love of Papersource and shopped accordingly 😀 I rarely treat myself to any new art supplies, so you can imagine how excited I was to lay my hands on these beauties!
I’ve been eyeing this Kate Spade New York Stripes and Dots Pencils. I’m so glad they made their way to my desk.
I love this hard cover confetti gold Papersource notebook. It’s going to make a great journal for note-taking and project planning in the coming year.
I’m channeling my inner Anna Bond with my favorite new Iphone case in Floral Lace. I usually buy solid cases but I really like the idea of a clear one. This delicate illustration looks so pretty against the case.
If you’re going to have something hang on your wall year-round it might as well be beautiful right? This calendar illustrates 12 coffee and tea’s from all around the world. It’s comes with beautiful gold foil accents and includes twine for hanging.
It’s printed a heavy stock so it won’t curl up over time.
As expected the colors used for each month are STUNNING. I might just create a color board for each month. Very tempting.
I was so excited to unwrap this book. I have long been a doodler and newly an illustrator, but never ever a calligrapher. Learning calligraphy has kind of always been a bucket list think for me. After researching it seems as Creative Lettering and Beyond is the perfect place to start learning.
Pages are filled with speckled details and fun illustrations.
Lots of fun ideas and easy to understand techniques.
The Secret Garden Note Cards set comes in this beautiful tiny decorative box. The floral details look almost like they are waiting to be colored in. Great pattern and gold accents.
As a fan of the original book, and now coloring book, I could stare at these forever.
Lastly, Animal Kingdom illustrated by Millie Marotta has been on my wishlist for sometime now. I love the whole coloring books for adults idea. I can’t wait to put my phone and computer away and go at it.
More beautiful accents and colorful flourishes on the cover and binding.
“Fill in the foliage for these feathered friends.”
There are great little anecdotes and fun descriptions circling selected illustrations.
The details and time it took to create something like this blows my mind.
I hope you loved what was under your tree this Christmas like I did! The best gifts for me, are not the most expensive. They are those that best represent who you are and what you are passionate about.
